There are a number of things that could go on a “Keys to Successful Program Management” list but nothing starts until you have top management support.  It will be critical to your success to ensure executives are brought in at the beginning, ensuring they understand key milestones and the overall desired outcomes.  I have worked on several projects that could have run the risk of going off the rails if it wasn’t for getting initial buy-in and outlining the program’s communication cadence plan.  This is THE KEY.  No Exec buy-in; no CX program.
